Job Title: SharePoint Developer

Job Summary:

SteeleTech LLC  is seeking a talented SharePoint/Web Developer to join our team in Washington DC. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint-based solutions to meet our organization's collaboration and content management needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and create innovative SharePoint solutions. Your expertise in SharePoint development, customization, and administration will be crucial in driving effective collaboration and enhancing productivity within our organization.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint-based applications, solutions, and features

· Customize and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet specific business requirements

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and propose effective SharePoint solutions

· Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and system diagrams

· Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SharePoint solutions, including bug fixes and performance optimization

· Stay updated with the latest SharePoint trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the platform's capabilities

· Collaborate with the IT team to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, and document management systems

· Train end-users on SharePoint functionality and provide technical support when needed

Must be proficient in:

Front-end web development experience

HTML

CSS

Java Script

 jQuery

SharePoint & SharePoint REST API

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

· Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer, with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, development, and administration

· Proficiency in SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

· Strong knowledge of SharePoint customization using features, web parts, workflows, and event receivers

· Experience with SharePoint branding and customization using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML

· Familiarity with SharePoint migration and upgrade processes

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

· SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer) are a plus
